Ingredients for chicken fried rice:
- 2 cups cooked white rice (preferably day-old rice)
- 1 cup cooked chicken, diced or shredded

- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional garnishes: chopped green onions, sesame seeds
Instructions for preparation:
1. Prepare Ingredients:
- If you don’t have leftover rice, cook the rice according to package instructions and let it cool completely or refrigerate it for a few hours.
- Cook and dice or shred the chicken. You can use leftover roasted or grilled chicken for added flavor.
- Beat the eggs in a bowl and set aside.
- Chop any vegetables if using fresh ones.
2. Cooking the Fried Rice:
- Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.
